He must have read this forum. Much like Keith Dabengwa a few years back, who only ever performed when he was criticised on this forum.

Which is a good thing. He's made 44 in this innings, has he done enough to warrant a place back in the national side ?? Far too early to tell with all the first class cricket he'll be playing, or will he since he hasn't got a franchise

He will get a franchise contract for certain. His record was excellent for the Mountaineers last year.

I still don't see a place for Matsi in the starting XI. I think Craig Ervine probably has his spot at the moment.

Agreed, though I must say he's batted well these past couple of games. He and Craig Ervine have really been the only 2 to put their hands up and score some runs for their side. Though if push came to shuv, I reckon Ervine would get the spot in the national side on current form and ability

I wouldn't let Matsi's performances fool you yet. Remember this is only the Netherlands. He needs to perform against quality opposition before I will bow down to the greatness of Matsi.
