Re: Zimbabwe XI Squad to Face Ireland
Senior squad's scheduled for training camp at the same time as the Intercontinental Cup match. I'd hazard a guess they're keeping fully separate squads for the first-class match and ODIs, and I'd put a few quid down on Meth and Ervine getting a runout in the ODIs.

Could be the case, but Ireland are a very strong side, we need to beat them and not take any chances to show how good we are.maehara wrote:Senior squad's scheduled for training camp at the same time as the Intercontinental Cup match. Interesting to note that Eddy Rainsford isnt in the squad to face Ireland, instead he has been replaced by Ncube. i think this may indicate that Rainsford has been promoted again to the senior squad so hopefully should feature against Ireland in the ODI'S

Senior Squad I presume. They cannot drop him back on the basis of a bad game for the Rocks.Conant wrote:No Craig Ervine? Why?
A talented batsman but a modest, hardworking character, Stuart Matsikenyeri is the third of three school friends from Churchill Boys High School, Harare to represent Zimbabwe in international cricket. - Cricinfo.

Good to see Steven Marillier in the squad. I am interested to see how he does.
