At least it'll increases the standard of cricket ...

Maybe three overseas players?
Too many. It hurt english cricket for years when they had up to 4 in the seventies. We need to allow 2 maximum and they need to be good as well to help bring the stnadards up.
They only ever had up to 2 overseas players. What we need to remember is that the Zim domestic cricket is not of an outstanding standard, and anything that raises the level at which local players play on a weekly basis is probably good. Also remember that if the national side are to return to test cricket, the actual senior national players will be available for their franchises a lot less. Last year, this lead to some matches of an unacceptably low standard, overseas players would help bridge this gap.

There has to be a balance, cos say if one team has 4 international Players and they bat from 1-4 then we are shooting ourselves in the foot and some locals will miss out. So two bowlers and two batsmen, at the very most otherwise I think for now its okay but in sa few years it must come doem top 2 or three at the very max.

rubbish. they had much more than that in the seventies. take warwickshire who had on their books and playing 4 west indians. lance gibbs, deryck murray, alvin kallicharan and rohan kanhai. in the same team.
A talented batsman but a modest, hardworking character, Stuart Matsikenyeri is the third of three school friends from Churchill Boys High School, Harare to represent Zimbabwe in international cricket. - Cricinfo.

They would never have been allowed all four in the same side, unless some of them were qualified by residence. Counties have never been allowed more than two. There are many famous overseas partnerships from that era, Greenidge and Richards opening for Hampshire, Garner and Richards at Somerset, etc.
