With Gary Ballance scoring a ton, maybe his absence from the 'A' squad is the most telling. Is he playing for the Rhino's as an overseas player? To return to Yorkshire for next summer?

I would have thought so. No one has actually given up a county contract to return to Zim yet, so I'd be surprised if Ballance is the first.Robin wrote:With Gary Ballance scoring a ton, maybe his absence from the 'A' squad is the most telling. It's really bad from Gary Ballance. All is now well with Zimbabwean Cricket, he should give it a chance.aydee wrote:I would have thought so. Possibly, but he has now been based in England for 5 years, and playing for Yorkshire would be a lot more lucrative, unless he was a national team regular.sloandog wrote:It's really bad from Gary Ballance. It's no different from Penny and Curran in the 90's

I'm sure Curran was playing county cricket long before Zim got test status.Robin wrote:It's no different from Penny and Curran in the 90's

As Ballance was playing county cricket well before Zim's return to Test Cricket
