One positive though, looks like Elton is running into a bit of form with the bat finally. Hopefully he can takea few early wickets as wel and set us up. Nice time to be getting back to your best as well.

Yeah very positive indeed, I hope he does the same with the ball.

WOW that was great. Chigs finally clicked. Fantastic hunderd a real captains innings. MAn oh Man i though we were headed for 180-190 if the tail didn't collapse and he just came out and built a good innings them blasted them away at the end. Great to see the middle and lower order preform well under pressure, they have had a tendancy to collapse at times.

Please can someone tell me that Rainsford didn't pick up an injury... It appears as if he bowled 2 deliveries and then got taken off. Either that or a technical error on the Cricinfo and Yahoo scorecards for the match

Cricinfo scorecard updated - he actually bowled only one ball. Doesn't look good... :(

So, the warm up matches are through, and the only top order pair we tested has failed. Where do we go from here? Strange that Regis didn't get a go in the middle as well. Pretty ordinary show by Lamb and Cremer with the ball. Rainsford injured? Where does all this leave our confidence?

Despite the defeat i still think it was a nice little work out. taibu got back to some form as well as Chigumbura, Utseya and Price were as Economical as ever and lamb came and biffed 7 from 3 balls ( surely his highest ever strike rate  )
Williams needs to be more consistent and Coventry needs a big score under his belt or Duffin the rock will come into the squad in his place
