The Zim Selectors got a gentle reminder today about dropping H Masakadza after he knock up 120 not out against Mash Eagles.

That is more than just a gentle reminder. When was the last time HM had a lean patch domestically? He is THE most consistent domestic performer for seasons now.

Mountaineers win but several members of mountaineers team refuse to take field today because they have not been paid for three months. Vermeulen went as far as stopping the game for more than 40 minutes while they demanded for the CEO to come down to the field. When the CEO arrived he asked the ground staff to remove Vemeulen from the field but the rest of the mountaineer players stood by him and asked for the salaries

Now you can imagine what those reactionaries from Zanu are gonna be saying. Good thing the rest of the players stood behind 'Gamba'.

Any news on this?

Pretty worrying story... You can't help but imagine the worst after the last decade that Zim have had - ie, franchise structure falls apart as there was never the necessary money to support the system...
