It got burnt down by Mark Vermuelen. I am not sure if it has ever been fully reconstructed.

The cricket Academy is running again, with a large 60metres by 22 metres shed having been put up over the in door nets. There is a lot of junior coaching going on with Kevin Curran, Robin Brown & Doug Higgins all coaching there. The only problem is that Mr Alastair "Stanford" Campbell is involved with the management of it.

He is known as Stanford because he has become the big noise of Zim cricket just like Stanford did in West Indies cricket and also making alot of money out of it.

I know this is wrong of me but does anyone else think the fact that the national cricket academy was burnt down by a current state player kind of funny?
