Off course he did!!! If Sachin says he wants the Moon India will bring it down for him! (Especially with his current form)

brilliant!!!
Although I must admit - I rarely watch when Sachin bats. I prefer watching before he comes on and when he gets out. If it's him&Dravid in tandem then it gets worse - I'd rather watch grass grow. Anyway he's statistically the best batsman to have graced the game so enough respect to him.

Since im not on the iphone at the moment, and can sit and write a long message (almost all computers i know block this forum) i want to bring to light an issue i have not yet seen here touched upon.....

That is...
This is a huge signing because it has proven one thing (Sean Ervine and friends take note),

is that playing for Zimbabwe can and is a good platform for this type of opportunity...

a few years ago, price was toiling and being an also-ran in county cricket. not setting the world on fire- just doing his thing.

When he returned to the fore, hes set the world alight. he is now widely known and can get an ipl contract, something that Sean could have done but at present has no chance of doing.

its turning the table on the notion that careerwise and moneywise its better to go abroad to play.

THAT to me is what gets me excited....because when that is realised, less people will leave. And a few will return.

It is certainly a step in the right direction if playing for Zimbabwe ends up being more lucrative than playing county cricket. This combined with the obvious lure of international cricket should hopefully keep a few good cricketers in the country - politics permitting. When is the next bloodbath/election?

I'm going to vote for Bobby M.

He's done a good job so far and I'm familiar with him

Bobby M needs a few more years to prove himself I think.
