I understand Chiggs position, without captaincy he's not guaranteed a place in the side and that's a dangerous place to be in during this phase of rebuilding. He got a county contract last year and didn't capitalise, he's been starved of runs and mortally afraid of bowling these days, so what's to prevent him from drifting away? On the other hand, Utseya - faced with the exact situation, chose to stand aside from the captaincy and fight for his place and boy didn't he do just that. His batting is now phenomenal by Zim's WC standards. Chiggs needs to do the same, for his own confidence at the very least.

This is as welcome as Comrade Bob stopping on as President.
A talented batsman but a modest, hardworking character, Stuart Matsikenyeri is the third of three school friends from Churchill Boys High School, Harare to represent Zimbabwe in international cricket. - Cricinfo.
