In this poll, we will decide on who the leading spin bowler should be. There will also be a concurrent poll at viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2216 where the actual spinner-to-seamer ratio of bowlers should be, so of course if one bowler doesn't get selected in this poll there's a good chance they will get their opportunity in the coming few polls.1. will say Creamer you need wicket taking bowlers and the other two have done wonderfully for Zimbabwe but you an only economize so much in TC and they are pressure bowlers.Dirty Joe even though a tad bit more expensive should spearhead the spin attack.

Cremer:
Younger- best leggy in the world under 25 apparently I saw on cricinfo
Wicket taker
More variety (googly, flipper)
slick hair

Re: Countdown to Test cricket: Who should be the leading spi
I'm sorry it has to be Ray Price.
He's the best spinner in Zimbabwe, he's played test cricket before, and he takes wickets. Cremer will get his chance, but in time

Re: Countdown to Test cricket: Who should be the leading spi
To me it is a moot point which of the two will play - they will both play.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

This is a non-starter gentlemen...
Re: Countdown to Test cricket: Who should be the leading spi
Cremer has 3?
I was early in this thread.... Presumably brm voted price - another rogue voted price and me and tinashe voted cremer. Was tied at 2 a piece this time yesterday.
At the end of the day they should both b there
