A bit of off-season fun here...


What are the nuances, traits and common situations you find on this forum?

Personally i notice this forum has a certain culture of its own. What are some things you have noticed???

To start the ball rolling, these are things i've picked up on.


-A 1-11 team list finding its way eventually into every thread....regardless of what the actual topics about (i've mentioned this before)

-People from the curry region (pakistan,india,sri lanka etc) starting threads with " Hi, this is ****** ***** .....from *insert country here*.
i guess this is to make sure we are all clear on that detail. Before we can proceed.


- Waves of hype on certain players...Meth, Chitara,Panyangara etc.


- Player obsessions. Some players have an ongoing obsession with a certain player that wont go away. For instance- theres aguy here obsessed with Matsikenyeri, mad crazy.

-To a much lesser extent, more so one year ago when i furst joined. Every 3rd person had an avatar of cremer.

What else?

1 My worst - people Quoting a whole post instead of just quoting the sections they intend to comment about. Irritating especially when browsing on the phone.

2 Posting WHOLE articles from other sites. Post a link and an interesting paragraph only.

I often have trouble deciding if some of the subcontinent posters are actually real people or just spam bots.

spambots ar becoming the gypsys of the forum.

saw another forum ruined by them earlier this yr. Not ZCFs fault though.

as for the 1-11 post....bide time, it will happen
