Just watched him bat again today, i feel a bit sorry for this guy. His heart is with Zim and he just can't get into the mood with Hampshire.
If his heart was with Zimbabwe buddy he'd have played in the World Cup; his heart is with Hampshire. Yes, he may still have ambitions to play test and ODI Cricket for us in the future, but at the moment, it's county Cricket for Sean.

Those scores of 22 and 19 would look pretty good in our brittle middle order at the moment.

I watched from about the 14th over of Hampshire's innings, Ervine's wasn't a convincing knock. All of his runs came through singles, most weren't off the middle of the bat. :(

Well done sean. Your season seems to have started over 2 months after everyone elses. I'm sure a stint in the minor counties beckons.

Maybe it won't be that long before Sean is available for Zimbabwe selection

Another brilliant performance this evening in the Clydesdale Bank 40 fixture against Durham

6-0-48-1 with 3 wides and a 20 ball 9 batting at 3

Would he actually BE selected for Zim :?

Maybe Sean and Elton had some kind of 'form swap'. Not so long ago Elton was struggling with both bat and ball, but it seems as if he's now performing. On the other hand Sean enjoyed some good form last season, but he's been terrible this season pretty much like the Chigumbura we had a couple of months back.

I understand the lack of form that Sean is showing at the moment is also the main reason for Carlos Tevez not moving to Corinthians
