Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe XI vs South Africa A
Masakadza bowled. Now the game gets interesting
Taylor just needs to keep doing what he's doing, 59 not out at a healthy strike rate.
Chakabva needs to step up now. This is an A team series, this is an opportunity for players like him to really make a name for themselves. I hope he does well.

Chakbva 0 from 6 balls thus far makes the pressure on taylor that much more pronounced
Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe XI vs South Africa A
Taylor going strong - we need him to bat until the end. Great to see 'The Meth' among the wickets again. Price still seems to be struggling.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

Taylor is now the leading run scorer in the series and Chakabva has just reached 1000 (one day) career runs.
85 from 60 balls required... with 8 wickets in hand that's not as bad as it sounds. Chakabva needs to take the initiative and start looking for boundaries though - 40 odd balls and no fours yet, he's had enough time to get his eye in. And if we haven't taken the powerplay, the time is now. It goes without saying that Chigumbura must be the next man in regardless, perhaps Mutizwa after him.

Chakbva needs to be reminded that he's not playing in a test match, ditto sibanda

Taylor out on 98
What are the odds of that being a catch in the outfield? I reckon he's decided to go for the big hit himself seeing Chakabva could not

Chigumbura two boundaries there, may be glimmer of hope yet

62 from 40 required, another four from Chigumbura
At least given the situation Chigumbura has no choice but to play his natural game.
