I was about to say I hope Chigumbura is running byes with Chakabva, but Chigumbura just got run out. So I guess he tried to but didn't make it
Chakabva needs to start hitting some boundaries... he's faced 50 balls and without seeing the game, it's still pretty safe to assume his poor strike rate his indirectly led to the dismissals of both Chigumbura and Taylor.

Chakabva is not ODI-calibre.

Well, he's finally hit a four. 44 from 30 required with 6 wickets in hand. I'm not sure why Ervine was sent in before Mutizwa, didn't Mutizwa bludgeon the Kenyan attack a few years ago?
Another four from Chakabva as I write this
200 up, 39 from 28 required. It's getting close now...
And another four from Chakabva!
Why wasn't he doing this when he was batting with Taylor?

Maybe Chakabva will prove me wrong. His strike rate is now 81.13. Maybe Ervine was sent im to give him experience with batting at the end of an innings. Ervine tends to need time to get going.

Good point, seeing this isn't an ODI series the learning experience is probably more important than the win. And the fight-back in the last 5 or 6 overs has been impressive.eugene wrote:Maybe Chakabva will prove me wrong. His strike rate is now 81.13. 28 from 20 required, it would be great if Chakabva could finish it from here.
