I note with interest the pace that calum price is said to bowl. To my knowledge he has only once been tested against a speed gun and that was at the youth world cup in 2010 against New Zealand. His average pace for that match was 127kmph (nearly 80mph) and fastest ball was 133 kmph (83kmph). At that stage he only just turned 18 so I presume he could have quicken up over the past 18 months. But I have also noted that he gets most of his wickets from his away swing and not his pace.

Keegan Meth is bowling slower than 80mph but it is his swing that gets his wickets. I think Calum as he gets older and strong will continue to increase his pace to the mid 80's upwards
