Ja, its a four day game and the run rate is not really that important, but at some stage they have got to up the tempo as they push for a big total. the important thing for me is that they still have wickets in hand and they should just bat through the day.

I just noticed something on the scorecard, it's 90 overs per innings. So at the rate Zim are going, after 90 overs they won't be anywhere near an acceptable total. i think its time for them to step on it.

After 196 balls you would think Vusi could up the run rate a bit.

Thats the overs in a day, it would not be a proper first class match if it was 90 overs each!!!

And this is test match cricket guys, its what we have wanted for so many years so why are we complaining when we have guys who bat in the correct mannor for the match.

So Vusi involved in another run out.

But Mr Stability Regis Chakabva with him now. Prepare for two marathon innings and ignore the kill joys who are moaning about the run rate.

Vusi to get a double century here. But first, that century...

I still think Duffin and Sibanda would be a much better choice for opening the batting.
Taylor at 4 would be a good move...

On the scorecard it says "(90 overs maximum)"... that better be a mistake because a limit imposed on the number of overs would be ridiculous and hardly First Class cricket like you say.

How serious are the injuries to Taibu and Taylor? Will they be good by the 1st Test against Bangladesh?

Maybe a 90 over limit on each innings was imposed to prevent Australia batting for all four days.
