Welch is going to have to do something special in his last two matches.

We all know the lad is a good player and will add something to national squad. Thing is you need to look at the Gumbie example. Nowhere near national squad and he scores big daddy hundreds in logan cup and against Glamorgan touring side. Then big hundreds against Pakistan shaheens both in 4 day and one day.

Welch hasn't done any of that and his form has tapered off a bit. Showing signs of resurgence in NPL though.
