While we wait for the next game... Who owns Dominus and could there be conflict of interest? Anyone know anything?

Re: Conspiracy Theory 03: Dominus Sport
Dirk Viljoen is definitely part of Dominus Sport, from what was talked about during the Stanbic T20, but no idea who else is involved.

There would be a few skeletons in the zim closet no doubt. Alot of it racial and people using their connections to get in whether it's in teams or the boardroom

Re: Conspiracy Theory 03: Dominus Sport
I think Dirk Viljoen plays a pretty prominent role at Dominus. I may be wrong, but I've never been under the impression otherwise. There's no conspiracy though, ZC have been open about their business relationship with Dominus for a few years.
Re: Conspiracy Theory 03: Dominus Sport
If Dirk Viljoen is involved I welcome this conflict on interests. Looks like they are seeking to overun Zimbabwe Polocrosse also.

What if Alistair Campbell is a major shareholder would there still not be a conflict of interest?brmtaylor.com admin wrote:I think Dirk Viljoen plays a pretty prominent role at Dominus. Just as I thought

The convenor of selectors employed by ZC is the MD of a company that handles most of ZC's eventsCricket Zimbabwe wrote: Hahahaha Dominus is involved in more than just cricket, it is also involved things like Polocrosse. Alistair Campbell and Dirk Viljoen are the main guys with Campbell as MD, they handle a number of things for ZC, but truly, what do you hope to achieve with this line of questioning and conspiracy theories? http://www.facebook.com/CZFBP

HOWEVER Subjectively people whose interests re aligned to Dominus sports will say there is no conflict of interest to protect their own interests..excuse the pun..Objectively speaking though there is conflict of interest even by Zimbabwe's business practices, and this transcends the across most boundaries....
