I want to see Chivanga back. I just do see the appeal eith Gwandu at all. 75mph (maybe 80mph on a good day) with very little seam movement and no swing. Cannonn fodder in a test match. Reminds me a little bit of Tiripano

Mawoyo clearly does not rate Curran. Really quite uncomplimetary on the subject and wanted to see Marumani open, with Tony Munyonga coming into the fold.

It's all well and good Mawoyo saying this isn't his first series and that he should be getting used to the pace of international cricket, but he has to use that same logic with countless others. Marumani has done sweet fuck all yet he's championing him to open and suggesting he continues to receive the opportunities already afforded to him. People seem to see something in Maru which I don't. I see a kid who has a good eye but an bloke who doesn't seem to be learning.

Was so nice to see Wez get some runs. Looks more solid and more mature when at the crease compared to previous years.

:o Gwandu bowling really well here. I would bowl him out now because bowling him at the death may be a terrible idea.

I think the Irish are batting cautiously because the pitch is not too easy. Maybe they've overestimated how hard it is, but is don't think so.

Ya I said earlier if they drop Curran you know Tino has a say  . Fact is if the commentators make sense the selectors are listening.

Ervine goes to the two spinners he knows and trusts but he has to bowl the others surely?

Having said that the existing 5 guys have kept the run rate very manageable.

Madhevere can take a lot of pace off and I'd give him a go definitely.
