Bad way to get our for Sibanda. Not to detract from his great innings, but Sibanda never quite looks as comfortable as he should.

Well batted Vusi Sibanda! You've made your country proud, pitty you couldn't go on and make the big ton, but the foundations have now been set!
We;ve got ourselves out in this innings, the Bangladeshi's just bowled the balls

I take that back, why are they playing those cut shots? It was bound to get him in trouble, as it did Mawoyo...

Well played Vusi, what a shame he gave his wicket away after doing all the hard work. I am sure his time will come and he will get that elusive test ton.
Before play he had 48 runs in 6 innings.
A great performance.
Great call Sloandog.

I think we need to take of the rose tinted glasses a little bit. The fact is that two batsman have got in and given there wickets away. This is not how to win test matches, 40's and 70's we will us nothing.
We are facing a very poor attack and should be kicking on to 400 plus but if we keep on giving our wickets away we will be bundeled out for 300

If one can be a bit harsh, both wickets have been more self inflicted than well bowled, having said that good knocks from the openers. Stage well set for Taylor and Masakadza, this is where we have to make it count....as we have a brittle lower order and no tail to talk about...
1. Mawoyo 2. Duffin 3. Sibanda 4. Taylor 5. Masakadza 6. Williams 7. Chakabva 8. Creamer 9. Jarvis 10. Rainsford 11. Mpofu

I see HAmmie is motoring along nicely. He certainly seems to have get back into test cricket very easily.

We're plyaing Razzak pretty confidently so far, which is good to see at these early stages of the match.

Hopefully these two can stick around for another 40 overs, to face the new ball at the end of the day...speaking of which it will be interesting how we negotiate that (close of play) as what I noticed was we tended to lose a cluster around the last 5 overs of the day (in cases from very good positions), maybe getting ahead of myself, all of 30+ overs to go.....
