Tough little period here before stumps. 10 overs against the new ball. Masakadza and Taylor just need to play sensibly - basically just keep on doing what they've been doing :)

That was a memorable one. Hope Sean also saw that. There is nothing like test arena and it was so nice to see the opners(a debutant included) doing what Grant-Kevin did on 18 Oct 1992.

It's just a beginning and they have more torrid times to come in this test. I hope people like Shakib and Tamim know by now what to say and how to say. Would love Kyle rattling his timbers in first over :D

250 up for Zimbabwe :D

What did everyone think about that lbw shout? Live I was pretty worried... replay showed it might have just gone over the bails. No UDRS in this series I guess or it would have been reviewed.

Now we are ten overs from the new ball....this is now a relevant thought....fingers crossed hope I havent jinxed it...

Prayers answered, couldn't have gone better than this, tommorrow we should aim to drive the advantage home, bat once, and have the best of the conditions, and hope the pitch detoriates by day 4 and 5....dreamland

Fantastic, close of play and we didn't lose another wicket. Hope Hamilton and Taylor can go on and make big scores tomorrow. It was a solid start to our test return, there is a lot to be happy about.
