Do you guys think ZC places Muzarabani in the second category? Raza and Muzarabani are the main men of the team. This list is just imaginary

As we speak Falao going for plenty. One guy bowling tight and the other hemorrhaging. Not ideal.

Ya i can't vouch for its veracity at all, or what the difference would be monetarily.Marshmallow wrote: ↑Wed Mar 12, 2025 8:51 amDo you guys think ZC places Muzarabani in the second category? Raza and Muzarabani are the main men of the team. This list is just imaginary![]()
But easy enuf to figure that one out. The A+ guys they're dangling a carrot to keep going. The seamers aren't going anywhere. Everyone u see below A+ is on the hamster wheel.

Evans has it tough now. Bennett, Curran, Jonno to an extent and NW are all in the mix with Ervine and Williams. Plus the interest in Higgins and the resurgence in Burl.
Hard to see where he fits without some sterling performances. He needs to be performing equivalent to how Curran and NW did this season so he literally becomes un-ignorable by sheer weight of numbers. As of now I can’t think of any stand out performance from him other than that Pakistan game at the World Cup, three years ago. He doesn’t have the credit in the bank to walk straight back into contention after such a long layoff with injury.
There’s probably not even any shenanigans at play. His youth and the stage of his career he was/is at, it’s fair to make him prove himself again. It’s not like if Blessing or Richie got injured and they would be straight back in the side after rehabilitation.

I partially agree. Thing is he is a proven performer. He's been back a short while and has bowled really well. This very game, or the next one, would show ZC where he's really at.
I'm just saying he's our most accurate bowler by a distance, and that includes Blessing and Richie.
Look at this current match. In bowler friendly conditions they're going at over 4 an over. They're off the hook and have a big start. It's game over already.
Nyauchi bowling beautifuly at one end and Falao and Chivanga getting savaged.
That would not have happened with Evans bowling.

I don't want to labour a point here but this was the perfect opportunity to see if they need Evans or not.

Alex Lees is a giant!! He looks bigger than Chivanga!

Raza will be hanging out and starving 12 days into RamadanGoogly wrote: ↑Wed Mar 12, 2025 8:49 amI'm surprised Ervine and Williams are not wanting to play today? Would be good practice. They clearly earn a lot and are underutilised. It's a toss up between trying to stretch their careers and undercooking them. They're on the wrong side of that.
Raza comes and goes as he pleases and makes money every way he turns. No judgement, just an observation. lol:

Ervine had a kid a month ago, well his wife did. Has he played any domestic since then?
Williams

Thing is none of them need to play, they could do a net and get their eye in and some bat on ball. Bangladesh is six weeks away and England two months or more away. It probably wouldn’t benefit them as much playing these games as it would for the guys they’d be replacing.
I think for once these are genuine A games for PONIs in and around the squad, guys they’re not 100% sure on.
