Just need to see this over off and this will have been a pretty good recovery from these two. Williams and Curran both played poor shots but this wicket looks quite spicy in hindsight.

And just like that. Henry is so so good. Wow. He moves the ball so much off the seam. Again, though, haaaard hands from Welch. Showed some fight and some grit there but man that was disappointing. Time for Raza to earn some browny points with the board

The bloke has a lot to offer the batting department but I just feel he's playing in the wrong format. Clearly has the shots. I was really rooting for him there. Must be so hard knowing that you're only one more innings away from getting dropped

Its fucking annoying listening to these two guys. Mawoyo who's never hit a shot in anger doesnt know what a scoring shot is so fuck knows how he can talk.

He got nothing to hit until the spin. The chatting he likes, he instigates it.

A 27 is a Zimbabwean 50. He looked really organized there and not susceptible in the first 20 balls as he's prone to. Clearly been doing a lot of work. 2 leg guard and trying to be more offside and really late contact points. Weve found a batsman with a real learning curve.
In the real world he's done enough, but this is Zim. Hes done enough to play white ball. Who've we got surviving that bowling attack for 70 deliveries

I got sent a ball by ball clip of his 50 against SA with all of rhe sledging from the commentators, they should have been in the fielding team.. It was a damned good innings, again nothing to hit and they bowled beautifully at him. These guys
are so full of it.

It's more Rainsford than Tino I've found. I feel some of his comments are really weird. He was an unaccomplished bowler who only played 39 times for Zim and did fuck all. Plus he was given a career due to the political situation of 2004-08.
 A bit harsh there on Ed. I mean we all haven't played international cricket here doesn't make our analysis terrible. He was somewhat right though, it's almost as if for our batters, it's scoring boundaries or nothing. We really need to try and pick up the gaps and I think that is what sets Willow apart. His ability to find gaps for 1s and 2s, because you really do find yourself stuck. Ervine is also a culprit, but he has the grit though to absorb. I hope he gets a good score here today.

Anyway, really would have wanted Welchy yo kick on. I have been watching us for so many years and I really hate the last over of a session for us. Something almost always gives. Hopefully a miracle 200+ score here, otherwise we are looking at our usual 170 odd.

I am backing this team though, and BT for Tsiga next game please. Really thought we could have bowled first here. I know it is a defensive mindset, but we had to ease into the series, especially the batters. But hey, there is a second innings to bat and save the game. Let's see!

Welch was an innings away from shutting them up, we might have to wait a bit longer.
