Muzarabanis and Ngaravas performance has been average lately. But these guys have been playing more than a lot and its taking its toll. Both of them needs to rested enough and I think its also a good opportunity to test the bench warmers both in this series and in the upcomming qualifiers. We can go with the extra batsmen who can bowl, the spinners seemed to be more economical in the first match.

Really not sure why you'd risk resting them in the qualifiers
They are leaving a couple of batting spots to chance already, why leave even more to chance?
Once again Taylor and Cremer will make it to the qualifiers without having played a T20 game in many years, its looking more and more wrong as it edges closer.
Ya Blessing is looking cooked.

We were shocking with the ball but still won by 30 odd runs.

Was closer than it should have been although 30 runs is still a big defeat in this format. I felt like for once they were proactive and moved Burl up the order which made the difference. Took the game away from the Namibians. Credit where it's due.

Zimbabwe just never seems to get both departments correct. Very good batting effort but the bowling has been very disappointing.

The beatings we've had from top sides has undoubtedly improved us. In an ideal world we need to keep playing those sides and then mix it up against lesser sides, so we can occasionally get that winning feeling.

Marumani played better yesterday. That first 50 was edgy, but this one was better, but the bowling was a lot friendlier.
He just tightens up against good bowling and stops backing himself in front of square.
I suspect Namibia will be more competitive with the ball today.
We really really need to see Taylor in action. I'd like to see him open with Marumani.
Either one of Blessing or Richie should sit out to give Maposa a run.

Zimbabwe generally don't change a winning or losing side. But it is important to give everyone a run in this series.

Maybe I'm just too confident that they can beat likes of Tanzania and Botswana without Blessing and Richard
but I wouldn't rest them together.
I think some of those teams in the qualifiers will struggle againts Cremer, especially if it assists the spinners. But I don't like the fact that ZC has 4 guys close 40 and Craig who's already 40. They're places are pretty much booked for all the formats. If they continue to play for 2 more years, they're post retirement era will leave ZC with something similar to 2005. But the lads will get more chances with associate teams maybe to boost the confidence in the dressing room, unlike 15-25 years ago.
In my humble opinion these seniors should focus on 2 max. but not all them of should get chance in the all formats. Williams for me might be the only expection that too also depends on his fitness. At this they're wisdom and mentor seem to be more reasonable for the dressing room rather than them playing all the formats.
Damn we are almost too scared to even test our bench strenght and that to againts lower ranked teams
We had relied on them too much not to see the growth of the younger guys. Logically I don't even see Craig playing international cricket for long time now. He's batting is slowly declining, we have better captain and he's become more prone to injuries.
Anyways as Googly wrote Bless and Richie needs a rest from today. Tino and Trevor each needs 1 game in this series.
