Esteemed expert commentator Tino Mawoyo has called Ryan Burl 'Brian Bennett' twice this over. Bennett was out 20 minutes ago...

Kenya seems another team where they just replaced local niggas with indians.

I dont like seeing this. Every Tier 2 country and below is being swamped by sub continent players, and you just know they have no link at all with the nation representing.

I dont care what anyone thinks but watching UAE V Oman and Ireland vs Holland and 95% are indian/Pakistani is truly no fun at all.
I mean there's 100,000 Indians in Kenya - it doesn't seem odd to me that half their first choice cricket team might be Indian in that case.
20 years ago they played 8/3 local ratio now its flipped.
Here is their WC squad.

I'm pretty sure most if not all of their Indian players were born and raised in Kenya and know only Kenya.

Saying there's too many Indians in their team is a bit like if you were saying there is too many whites in ours? No?

They almost always do, actually.

They usually always have far more links to the country they are representing than, say, Antum Naqvi does.
Antum Naqvi is another example.

100k out of 56 million is a drop. It shows the country is going backward if the locals arent making it anymore over the indian population.

The euro countries are a bit different because they are just getting pumped into the country for cheap labour with the help of Israeli NGO's.

In the 1990s the cricket clubs had a lot of resources to really evangelise the game to the local community. Then with the loss of OD status, and the infighting at Cricket Kenya board level, there seems to have been a closing of ranks in the clubs and a loss of school cricket teams.

No because white people brough the game to Zim, and ran it themselves and are still the better players and are only being sidelined for politics.
That would be more apt if the game was originally all black and whites muscled in, and that would be a criticism of ZC chasing blacks away.

Different situation completely.
