T20 Africa Qualifiers

Re: T20 Africa Qualifiers
African teams with Indian players is more palatable than European or Middle East.
Africa has a long history of Indian/Pak citizens, so it was always inevitable that they would make their way to the cricket team. Even in their hay day, Kenya had indian/pak players.

Re: T20 Africa Qualifiers
Clinical the whole way. Let’s beat Namibia and continue upwards.
My 2 cents
Bennett great series. Reminds a little of Marnus and the amount of luck he has
Maru solid.
Bowling was very good. Can be tighter but overall can’t complain too much.
Commentator's either get a better person mixing the sound. I hate when commentators think yelling makes something better.

Re: T20 Africa Qualifiers
Zim cricket was established by the whites. It flourished and got to a very strong point, Indian people were involved only through Universals and Sunrise, but didn't quite crack the national team because of white rule. As a result, many kind of gave up on it. My mums uncle did represent Rhodesia though, as did Ali Omarshah.
Then we had BEE, and the sport has been gatekeeped by ZANU.
Those other countries were never really cricket countries. Look at Namibia, mostly kept alive by white Boers, and they are strong. Probably a good chance of beating us in the final.
The others however had no investment or development to the point where their cricket structures just fell away. African people are not fully invested in it because there is no money in it. The only people who would be are the ones from India/Pak.
