And where does this leave Masekesa? I rate Vinnie.
Im not sold on Cremer being around.
This upcoming white ball will be a good test for Taylor. Not sold on him either. His inclusion is doing a huge disserve to a couple of players, particularly Nick Welch, who's going to be around for another 10 years and is a better T20 player than Taylor.
These older guys "hanging around" for their last hurrah World Cup appearances is actually counter productive in my opinion. There are a number of guys theyre literally going to make lesser players of by sitting them out in favor of guys that dont bring much more to the table, if anything.
That's my final verdict, been thinking about it for a while- the old boys club gotta go! Theyre using them a bit to prop up a couple of players that shouldnt be there as well.
My arguemnet is thst BT can cover alot of podition
HE can be Wk or Opener when Maru goes back to his average self against Test nations. MARU is an associate bully .
BT is way exprienced and keeps the run rste ticking along better than Munyonga and Madsnde..
Right now you can plug him anyway in thr lineup and he can be productive unlike Musekiwa and Munyonga who are cling on the 6th and 7th when the match is already decided..
On CREMER THe guy can take wickets..period..
Wellie does a good job slowing the run rate but never takes wickets thats puts alot of prrssure on Raza or ever Burl..
Let CREMER Cook agsinst Afaghstsn and the tourment in Pakistan if he fails then we can dis regard him..

I agree. You also can't convince someone like Byrom to come back with these guys around
Surprisingly it’s white guys too.
Old Hamilton bosses the NPL every season and can’t get a game
Justice for old Hamilton ZC going full blown pre Rebels era
Good to see.
They are actually doing a kindness to the black players they love.
Elevating them to greatness before they are ready has not worked in any way, so now this switch up will mean they need to work to earn it and thats character building.
The players simply didnt repay the ZC red carpet treatment.

Ya I'm struggling to see Cremer's usefulness. There might be a case for him in 50 over or test squad, but there's absolutely zero reason for him to be in the T20 squad.
Is he good enuf that his 4 overs of leg spin will make the difference? His batting is not strong enough for that to even be a factor.
Masakadza would also sit out if he played. Its a factor in that he's one of the Chosen Ones. If the pitch dictated that we needed a "specialist" spinner I'd rather have Wellie, who's a better T20 batter.
Burl and Raza are more than enuf to fulfill the spin role. We don't have world beating spinners, we are better off with these two and play the extra seamer or batter. If or when Naqvi becomes available with his decent offies that should be the very end for Wellie in all formats and would make it almost impossible for Cremer in T20.
Anyone with half a brain would concur, so what's the deal?
Taylor punting for his mate will be a small factor, but there's a bit more to this.
I think you have forgotten just how effective Cremer was at T20.
Of course, that was 8 years ago.

I disagree as we need our very best for the World Cup. They are still better than the ones behind them. After the WC's we can reassess it all and they no doubt will.
