I wait to see the post mortem of this tournament, but any other serious nation would fire Elton after this and make some serious change.

Can't go into a home world cup saying, "we are not worried about this one, we are worried about the next one".

They definitely didn't say that. There is only one player eligible for the next one! (Unless the ICC regs are changing, and this hasn't been published - which seems unlikely!)

The 2016 squad was very talented.

Brendan Sly was a very good prospect and a highly respected left arm spinner

All very capable of playing FC and some international. Compared to this current squad, 11 years ago was a much stronger side
