They need to play Ben in the Ireland game. He is a solid no3/no4 option & can bat at other positions too if raza & burl come up the order if the situation demands power hitting. One of myers/tony should get dropped.

Ireland has played against Zimbabwe a lot and their plans on how to tackle Muzarabani & co. will be a lot more clear than any other team. If Ngarava is fit, one of the spinners go out, but I think Raza should play 2 frontline spinners. It's worth the gamble. Cremer can really slow things down in the middle overs if his split webbing issue is sorted
They won't drop a batter from the game today, nor should they.

Also... like it or not, Madande would be ahead of Curran in the queue to bat at any slot other than opening, or possibly 3.

I would be surprised if Ben comes straight in but it wouldn’t be the worse move.

Apart from having a good domestic t20. Ben has made runs in the last year against both Sri Lanka and Ireland. So he should be familiar enough with the opposition.

Two little things that just showed we were on.

Clive yet to play a game in the tournament. Comes on to sub field and gives everything to stop a four. Could have easily gone half hearted.

Tony same again. First game playing and doesn’t bat. Stops a six and takes that catch. Easily could have gone through the motions.
That's a stretch , bud. Madande is actually a really good outfielder which is unusual for a keeper.
Everyone is going to give it their all. Munyonga will probably retain his batting spot because he took a great catch? Now that's an actual stretch.

Musekiwa is a fantastic boundary rider. Unbelievable athlete.
Not saying Tony should keep his spot because of his a fielding. More highlighting that everyone on the team was on.
