I think we can stop the flow of enough runs from Pakistan. i guess the combo is working well .Price nearly got a wicket .drying up the runs for the Pakistanis in the first PP will put presure on their batsmen to play shots , which lead to wickets.

Intersting how everyone sees things diffrently, i saw a short wide long hop which should of been hit for four but got a nick through to the keeperandybligz93 wrote:mpofu STRIKES 2nd over hiitng the seam and moving awaay and farhat prodes the bat out and taibu takes the catch. great start and price baking him up with a maiden

Nice ploy to bowl these two in tandem, I often feel at times we are "too" attacking, and quality teams can run away with things, I like tying up one end and attacking at the other, even if it means Mpofu ties up an end whilst Jarvis or Vitori attack at the other end, but not both, i.e. Jarvis and Vitori openning. Today Mpofu gets to attack...he is a tad expensive though...
1. Mawoyo 2. Duffin 3. Sibanda 4. Taylor 5. Masakadza 6. Williams 7. Chakabva 8. Creamer 9. Jarvis 10. Rainsford 11. Mpofu

it was a good ball to a left hander and it was closer than the batsman thought thats why he snicked itzimfan1 wrote:Intersting how everyone sees things diffrently, i saw a short wide long hop which should of been hit for four but got a nick through to the keeperandybligz93 wrote:mpofu STRIKES 2nd over hiitng the seam and moving awaay and farhat prodes the bat out and taibu takes the catch. great start and price baking him up with a maiden

Good thing Taylor has replaced Mpofu & Price with Utseya for the bowling power play . Mpofu was a bit expensive though. We need Price later

Ive never been one to have a go at our team, but this stratedy is rubbish, we are being so defensive and just looking to contain the batsman rather than getting wickets.
Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe v Pakistan (1st ODI)
Agree with u totaly, we need wickets otherwise the Akmals will hurt us. Utseya is a bit expensive but its good that he got Hafeez. Lets hope they dont get more than 280zimfan1 wrote:Ive never been one to have a go at our team, but this stratedy is rubbish, we are being so defensive and just looking to contain the batsman rather than getting wickets.

we need to get this Younis Khan , he damaged us in the test , we should not let him flourish.
