Saw saturdays highlights and AC (Mr Everything-At-ZC) was at the the toss, which means he probably was in the commentary box at some stage...

Apply the same to Taylor, Vusi and taibu who happen to be in the same boat and of the same category as Duffin and Matsi? Vusi didn't excatly have a stellar season and was eclipsed by both Duffin and Ewing. Look at his performance now. My argument is that if Vusi can be playing this well despite having been slecting while going through a lean patch, Duffin, Ewing & Matsi should do just as well! At least better than what Forster, Waller & Craig have been doing recently. The problem is you guys are writing off these seniors. I rememebr watching evry single ball Panyangara bowled in the WC, and I thought he did very well. Im still trying to figure out where some off you guys keep saying he was slow when I saw him bowl in the lower 130kph! Say what you want but Jarvis and Vitori will go down in the next year or two as one of the worst bowlers in the international circuit when it comes to conceding boundaries. They are too loose!! I have nothing against the guys but I see more bad than good coming out of these 'opportunities' they are getting. I'll revise this with you guys at the end of 2012. At the moment I have no doubt how this will turn out. Not a lot of games to go and the stats won't lie.brmtaylor.com admin wrote:Geez hhm, you can't be saying that Duffin and Ewing can be compared to the likes of McCullum and Oram. The reason New Zealand have persevered with their mature players through lean patches is because they are good. Our mature guys are only good by Zimbabwean standards. There is a huge difference.
The team will never improve unless opportunities are given to younger players. These young players like Jarvis and Vitori have huge potential; Vitori has already broken records and I think most people would agree that Jarvis looks like he's going to be something very special.
I'm sure you've heard this quote before; if you do what you've always done, you'll get what you always get.
