First of all, I acknowledged that Jarvis has a future as a leader of this our attack but I see that counts for nothing. I think it's not so much my hatred for Jarvis(or Vitori) but very much my antagonists' blind love for them. Not many people complained very much when I lashed out at Elton initially, or Forster in numerous threads, and I don't recall the same people jumping this vigorously to Mawoyo's defence each time.

The bottom line is everthing I continue to say about them is often true. I said a lethargic Bangladesh would soon get up to speed and get on top Vitori, which they did. I said Pak would get the better of both Vitori&Jarvis which they did overwhelmingly! Vitori was spared from NZ, but Jarvis wasn't kept away from the in all the short format matches and was clubbed, only redeeming himself in the second innings of the Test against a NZ batting order which could have gone about differently and kept their wickets. It's hard for you to see the negatives in both these young bowlers simply because you are hell bent on ignoring them and postponing for as long as possible any admissions that I was right about them. My prediction is that whichever one of them or both, who find themselves playing in any of the games will get hammered each time - I'm not hating just saying what makes sense. YOU also know that but won't admit it or express concern!

Very well reviewed sscricket! But Meth can probably pull specific delivery once every season, unless of course he's playing in England. He was fantastic and every one of his other deliveries was capable of getting him a wicket anyway. I forgot to make mention of Nicholson. Apart from Nannes & Tait, he was easily the quickest bowler on view, and did it with decent control. He generated a lot of bounce from the wicket, much like Morne Morkel, and Hami simply couldn't pull him. His good knock did not impress me the least bit. If you noticed, unlike you, I stayed clear of making calls for Coventry's return to the national team. Most other bowlers kept him under control, and he only took off in the overs against Jarvis(&Price in the last one), but was cleanly beaten by clever bowling in mos balls he faced.

Rainsford’s naggingly accurate line became too predictable in the end, a lesson which most disciplined bowlers should learn. Polly got punished a few times in ODIs for that, and this is where Rainsford failed. Hami timed him sweetly for the best six of the day, as well as a four which deserved to go the distance. If he is to be of much value then variety is something he must master in this format, but everything aside he was tight.

But if he doesn't get picked to play T20I against NZ, I don't think it should matter. There are plenty of options around who are earning their places.
I think the problem with the forum is we lack objectivity...we like a player and he can do no wrong...Jarvis has been phenominal in Test but average shorter version and T20. For me he should just sit out T20 its a pointless exercise and its not for everyone....Ncube is always said to be LUCKY when he performs...come on guys ...then there is Mutizwa a Test player in my books and adapts well to this bubble gum stuff and we are not impressed...Coventry pulls out ONE blinder in pointless T20 and should be ushered back to all formats...Ervine simply must be back...no reason....guys I know essays are abhored but some of us are slow, so please explain...because Im left very confused with very biased views, hhm on one side and the rest the other side of bias...sadly very few ballanced.

And for crying out loud this is just T20 stop reading too much into it...ok maybe I do lack objectivity about the format...but face it its just fun, instant gratification stuff and no more...so by all means jump up and down but dont condemn peoples careers based on it....
What in my quote was unbalanced or lacking objectivity? Jarvis deserves his Test place. Maybe he shouldn't be in the T20I team on current form.

It will only be a matter of time before he gets the national call. He will score a ton of domestic runs if he does not get picked. The selectors have to manage him and provide a pathway for him to get there.
When did you see him? He faced 5 balls yesterday

Yeah, I don't know why they weren't reported along with all the other signings.

All for the best. In comparison with the other franchises' signings, it would've been an anti-climax!
