The similarity is there, but it's not Clement Mahachi. And the connection to Zim cricket is a bit more far-flung tbh (and you do not have to find that out to get a pointCrimsonAvenger wrote:http://zimcricketforums.com/viewtopic.p ... 170#p37121

Anesu Kafesu, former team analyst / team manager?

Not it's not Kafesu either.CrimsonAvenger wrote:Anesu Kafesu, former team analyst / team manager?

The gentleman in question played FC cricket, in fact he was one of the very first batch of black FC cricketers in Zim. Another clue: He made his FC debut in the same match as one of a pair of slightly more famous twin brothers.

One last attempt: Ethan Dube, former Matabeleland chairman?
Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Photo Quiz
Was thinking Bernard Pswarayi, but I'm not sure he debuted with both matambanadzos...
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

You're spot on Ming. Well done!Ming wrote:Was thinking Bernard Pswarayi, but I'm not sure he debuted with both matambanadzos...
Bernard W. Pswarayi it is. He played for Zim Under-19s alongside Streak, Wishart and Carlisle, and made his first-class debut in the first round of matches in the Logan Cup 1993/94 together with Everton Matambanadzo.
His company Arch Rivers http://archrivers.co.za/branding/index.html has been involved in branding the MashEagles franchise. That's the "connection" I was looking for, a hint that was probably a bit misleading.
So Ming gets off the mark.
