Woudnt mind taking a closer look at tiripano and chatara in some A games, preferably against sri lanka. Have been performing well domestically but obviously need greater exposure

NO :!: As it stands, he's closer to being the worst!

I agree. However, let's not forget that there have been tour matches during which our guys have gotten a few chances to impress and they didn't, but then again the selectors themselves haven't exactly used those results:
-Panyangara let himself down against Aus XI, but the others didn't exactly prove their superiority
-Bangladesh are poor, and almost all the seamers we have can fare well against them. In this tour match against them, Chatara suffered because Meth, Jarvis&Ncube did better.
-Against the Pakistanis, Tiripano got his chance - and did well in my opinion, but once again Ncube was in the way. The most perplexing was Rainsford featuring and excelling yet he was still excluded from the squad. A decision the coaches may well live to regret, as hafeez had a filed day against our poor young seamers, and they were both as good as absent in the Pak Test! It was also the same match that bought Lamb an undeserved Test debut!
-Over to the tour game against NZ, and Chinouya enters the fray! Unlike Tiripano who featured against Pak, he didn't aqcuit himself well! The same was true of Shingi. Unfortunately Rainsford's class continued to escape the eyes of our inept coaches!

What is worth noting is that, at the time Shingi, Tiripano & Chinouya were doing well in the Logan&Pro50 Cups, which is why it could be said they got more opportunities than Chatara - who sprung late into the domestic season, and understandably, they weren't going to take him to NZ on that basis(when they already had 4 toothless bulldogs in the squad). But I feel all of them including Ncube were found out at international level, just like Jarvis&Vitori, who were dominated by each and every decent or poor batsman who chose to do so - a fate that WILL befall the likes of Manatsa&Muzhange as well.

That further justifies why I continue to rate Rainsford&Panyangara far higher(plus Elton&Mpofu obviously), despite the fact that some of these youngsters feature at the top of the bowling charts. There is no substitute for class! ;)
