Patrick Hancock scored an exciting 145 runs to give the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) (George) a colossal 231 win over University of Fort Hare B on Day Two of the University Sport South Africa (USSA) B Week in Vanderbijl Park on Tuesday. This result keeps NMMU on top of the Section D log with 10 points and a net run rate of 5.14.



NMMU won the toss and chose to bat posting an imposing 341/9, with Brendon Louw making a notable contribution of 51 runs. Fort Hare B struggled to score runs with Edwin Toreveyi the top scoring batsman with 48 runs. They were bowled out for 110 runs with Martin Slabber taking 4/43, giving NMMU a well played victory.
