Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Photo Quiz
I looked through a list of Zimbabwean test players and realised I hadn't thought of Neil Ferreira. I searched him in Google and the picture came up. I always thought losing Ferreira was a great shame, we could dearly do with his skills as an opener.

Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Photo Quiz
That was a good research then.
I never really heard lot about Neil during his playing days, although he has a solid FC stats. His only test appearance was a dismal one. So, we never know, he might have been useful if he had continued playing...

Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Photo Quiz
Although in that dismal test against NZ he was actually one of the 'better' performers. He had a sollid first class record and would have certainly fared better in international cricket than Matsikenyeri.

Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Photo Quiz
There's a video on youtube of him batting against shane bond in that match, and off the three balls caught on video, i dont think he would have been much better than matskinyeri or Dabengwa, seriously.
Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Photo Quiz
Shane Bond was unstoppable that day. I remember watching that test and he looked more at home that some of the more experienced players. He scored 21 runs in the match which was the second highest aggregate for Zimbabwe - talk about a terrible team performance! He was much more solid in the second innings where he lasted 90 deliveries. I think given a decent run he could have at least been as good as Duffin.
