[Match Thread] 3rd Match: Zimbabwe v South Africa

Post by maehara »

20 June 2012, Harare Sports Club. Play starts 1pm Zim / 12pm UK.

Televised: Supersport 2 / SS2 HD (Africa), Channel 9 (Bangladesh), Channel 9 UK (Sky channel 834, no subscription required).

Online stream: http://www.jagobd.com/channel9uk.html

Given how SA performed against Bangladesh yesterday, I'm thinking this will more be about damage limitation and run-rate for Zim. But we can hope. :)

i think zimbabwe were short of a batsman in the last game so time to bring in one for this game which will be much harder than the bangla match

No such luck. But we'll bat first, and I hope the guys start without fear.

Ahh, when Vusi hits them like that it looks so effortless.

48/0 of 6 overs, once again we have not lost wickets at the top which is key as we have a long tail.

not a bad start.

However, would like to see Vusi play more proper shots. Hes trying too many silly dabs and taps and its not coming off. Just play proper shots.
