Indeed. He has no involvement the national side (and betting he's feeling very glad he turned that contract down now), so he can say whatever he likes. Freedom of speech, and all that.

Well BT obviously forced to make an apology or face missing out on the tour to WI or losing the captaincy.
BT wrote:This was really not my intention

I didnt understand what exactly he is referring to here, is he saying his intention was not to make those comments in the heat of the moment?

Of course you were reminded of what you said in that meeting BT only the people you expected to be chopped were not next time be more specific who you mean. And on that note this is not the first time BT has forgotten critical info. He once made the wrong call at the toss?

I think that is a fair outcome.

The players have no platform for complaints.

Fb is obviously not the place.

Taylor makes his views known publicly, get's a rap over the knuckles, everyone moves on to the WI.

Not ideal, but in the dysfunction of ZC process on all sides, a reasonable outcome.

I fear the people who are in charge of ZC may not be much brighter.

was just thinking how I can't stand post match speeches cos they are just like the statement Taylor was made to write. i guess you should also use tge same channel to say good things about ZC. Go through appropriate channels. If we cant hear the criticisms then maybe we should also not hear tge compliments.

ZC would be a much better organisation if I was in charge.

Unfortunately there's bigger things to be achieved in SA cricket, so I'll be looking to get in as an independent member of the board come next elections.
