I had no thoughts of coming up with this question when I reshared that photo of Denis. This idea just happened as soon as I came across the Guyana scorecard and saw that both of them played together finally, after a few matches of wait...foreignfield wrote:if you had not posted the link to an earlier photo of Denis Streak I would never have guessed it, but that had me thinking maybe you were thinking ...![]()

Yes, that was pretty straightforward I guessaydee wrote:Solomon Mire

Here's an interesting article on him http://leader.newspaperdirect.com/epaper/viewer.aspx and some more photos in this gallery: http://www.portphillipreviewlocal.com.a ... e/?cs=1727
I also saw a photo of him doing high-fives with Clint Mckay who plays for Essendon when not on state or country duty but can't find it now.
It seems Solomon is doing well in a struggling team. Would definitely walk back into a franchise side. This season: 18 matches, 752 runs (third in the league), av. 37.60, while he struggles for impact with his bowling.

Bad times. It is so important that franchise cricket is as strong and competitive as possible.

296. Who is this batsman getting bowled, from the Old Mutual sponsorship days?
Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Photo Quiz
Doug Hondo?
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

He looks at bit different these days, but that's Tino Mawoyo, on the Bangladesh tour in late 2006.

Quick this time, but not correct unfortunately...Ming wrote:Doug Hondo?
Yes, Tino "The Wall" Mawoyo it is, playing a horrific shot to get out. We won't see such dismissals again from the fortress anymore, I'm sure...foreignfield wrote:He looks at bit different these days, but that's Tino Mawoyo, on the Bangladesh tour in late 2006.

Getting ever closer to that 300 mark. I hope Zim get there in the second Test before we do ...
