We're getting hammered really bad if the top order doesn't show up. Good effort from Bangladesh though to put themselves in a winning position.

391 all out. That's not a great effort from the bowlers, I thought maybe 350 would be a par score.
We just need to bat for as long as possible and see what happens. Quite frankly, I'd like to see another 150 over effort regardless of the run rate. That will take the game into day 4 and leave Bangladesh having to make some pretty attacking moves to salvage a result.

I think the only way Zimbabwe can win this game is by posting a score of about 500, so just bat for time and see if some pressure can be put back on Bangladesh.

short of 400...well we'll take this. hope ZIM feels the pressure of runs for the first time against BD in a Test!

Looks like a mirror image of the first Test right now.

Probably need to bat 7/8 sessions over two innings to save the match and win the series. Any thoughts about winning can be shelved for the next 150 overs.

Do I have to mention that Zim don't handle presure well?

eugene wrote:Cremer just needs to bowl a lot of overs to gain more consistency. His career has been so stop/start and then when he does play he doesn't get much of a bowl, like in the first test. Very spinners come on to the scene and taste success immediately, even Warne and Murali had to put in the hard yards.
All these Zim players have had similar careers and need the same care you suggest for Cremer (he gets the overs most leggies would expect). Sticking with players pays off (mostly) ... "walking wicket" Amla is a standout example but there are many others.. there are also times when you have to carefully help someone retreat to find form/confidence ... (like Tahir).

Now this test will get interesting ... hope to see a big opening stand

Sibanda needs to score big in this innings. We need runs from the top order and he needs to prove that he can play a long innings at Test level.
