It will be very interesting to see how this Chakabua chap rises to the challenge. He certainly does not lack the patience, has a pretty solid technique, more experience up the order than Marumva and might just be the perfect foil for Vusaka Subinda.
I remember about ten years ago Cricinfo always used to refer to a certain "Tina" Mawoyo.

As a bowler, I would be licking my lips if I was bowling at Chakabva. Anything on middle or middle and leg, he plays right around that front leg. A Keegan Meth kind of bowler would have him right in his pocket every time, swinging the ball away away away and then dart that in swinger. Needs to adress that

4 session belonged to BD even with 4 wickets falling. 391 is a big mountain to climb, especially when we will need 450 to give us something of a lead.
We don't make it to those sort of numbers that often.

Seeing off Robiul is going to be tough, he's bowling really well.
I'd love to see Chakabva make a Mawoyo-esque 30 off 150 or so (or more). Chakabva strikes me as a gritty player (I'm probably thinking of that innings against NZ), so let's hope he sticks around. I haven't noticed Chakabva playing square to full balls any more than the other batsman sloandog (but I'm looking out for it now); but I do think failing to play straight is a problem that Zimbabwe as a team faces. You can probably get away with it once your eye is in and you flick them off the pads but early in the innings it's a worry with the ball darting around at pace.

Ugh! ¬.¬ why is Harare Sports club playing Taylor swift. No wonder Vusi may have a rush of blood listening to that racket!
