Listening to Mushfiq without seeing the screen, you could be forgiven to thinking that he was doing something else than playing cricket.

Sorry, couldn't resist.
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

Get Kazusa in instead of Masakadza or sibanda. Mawoyo be back next series. hell even Sikander raza. It least he would have showed some positive intent of that im sure

There's nobody to replace them with so I think you have to persevere with them. I guess you could argue a case for Williams at three; but we've only got two batsmen in the country with a Test century to their name, it's very risky to drop one of them.

Sibanda needs to deliver on his potential, unlike Masakadza he's never made a big score at international level - except against Bermuda in 2006. That was a long time ago. We talk about Matsikenyeri having so long to prove himself on the world stage, it would be disappointing if Sibanda gets lumped into the same category. This season, he needs to prove that he can score big at international level.

Is the next series away? if so, let's simply change the whole team - they've all failed in three matches abroad!

Absolutely pathetic batting performance again.

An innings defeat beckons.
A talented batsman but a modest, hardworking character, Stuart Matsikenyeri is the third of three school friends from Churchill Boys High School, Harare to represent Zimbabwe in international cricket. - Cricinfo.

I know we don't have anyone else but these two aren't scoring runs anyway so what does it matter. No harm in throwing in Kasuza and/or Moor and seeing what they can do. There has to be some consequence for constant failings doesn't there?

Mawoyo would make three batsmen with a test century.

surely it's time to make Taylor open ... this idea of not fixing what ain't broke missed the fact that by putting him at 1/2 we're fixing what everyone is calling broken. Especially if he's as good as we all think he is. the bottom order all contributed last time so clearly making runs down the order can be done by more than just Taylor!?

In which case Taylor is a shoo-in ... no one else merits a place if we are going on a few failed games.
