[ Poll ] Player of the series (Zimbabwe vs Kenya)
Oh yes, the time has come. Here is the impossible task of picking 3 players for the player of the series award.
This will certainly be one of the most interesting polls we've had, there were some top performances in these 5 ODI's.
Poll will remain open for 7 days. Series stats: http://stats.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/rec ... ype=series

CHIGS , PROSPER, HAMILTON, MUTIZWA did well
12.4 Odhiambo to Vermeulen, FOUR, that's an appalling long hop, Vermulen had plenty of time to get into position, drink a cup of tea, and pull the ball towards the long leg boundary- his first boundary today

Even if not a world record, it must turn out to be some record if we put enough filters.Detective RDS wrote:He has really done well.15 wickes in his debute series. Is this is a record to take highest wicket in debute ODI series?
Coming to choosing 3 out of Chigumbura, Cremer, Utseya, Mutizwa, Masakadza and Williams (late addition), I was actually thinking of abstaining from voting

When was the last time we had a Player of the Series poll where The Legend got no votes?

Second leading wicket taker. 8 wickets in 5 matches at 24.12, economy of 4.30, he had a great series - but what's not in his favour this time is that so did about half a dozen other players. Only 9 people have voted so far though (25/3 = a bit over 8) so there is still a chance he will poll.maehara wrote:When was the last time we had a Player of the Series poll where The Legend got no votes?

My votes are for Hamilton Masakadza,Graeme Cremer and Elton Chigumbura.
Masakadza for scoring the highest run in the series.Cremer for taking the highest wicket in the series and for his extra-ordinary bowling 15 wickets at 11.46 in 5 matches!Elton Chigumbura for his allround performance. He was really aggressive while batting and taken 7 wickets which is the 3rd highest for Zimbabwe.
It's a bit unfortunate that the legend Raymond Price missing out.He had a great series indeed,2nd highest wicket taker 8 wickets at 24.12.But the batting of Chigumbura passed him in the selection.
Sean Williams,Prosper Utseya and Forster Mutizwa enjoyed a good series as well.
