“I am loving the way things are going here. I am not holding back here, my job is to hit bowlers all over the place, it is the way I always play and the guys here are coming to terms with that.
“Things are not really much harder here it’s just the wickets are slower and softer and the ball tends to swing a lot more than in Africa so you need to be patient when batting,” said Zhuwao.
i ma lso playing in the Warwickshire Premier Division together with Thomas Dangarembizi playing for Highway and Thomas playing for Bedworth.. pity still classified as overseas player so cant play first team but the second team im playing for is in the premier division as well.
Mike Haysman would have said: "Goodness Gracious Me! Zhuwao is tearing it apart there."
This is phenomenal stuff. Does that indicate the standards are very low in the Hampshire league OR the standards are very good in the Logan Cup so he struggles OR there is a new found confidence and better approach that has actually seen an improvement in Zhuwao's fortunes? I'd love it if it is the third case. He's been more than Bradmanesque there.

Eversley play in what is effectively the third tier of their local cricket. It is the top division of the "Thames Valley League", but above that there are 2 Divisions of the "Home Counties Premier League" for which the Thames Valley League is one of several leagues which feed into it. Their home ground is also very small, yes. Especially straight down the ground.
It was interesting to note that Mamhiyo's side actually played against a 2nd XI this week...

Cheers for that Aydee ... what seems to be clear so far is that he's too good for this tier
