It must be, it should be ... I think he ticks all the boxes.
So, this man is becoming quite a tough nut to crack, reflecting his on field approach as well.
:D
Phew :D Before I say anything else...

Russell Tiffin it is!

OK, here's a look at all the clues:
This young man's father has been involved with cricket in Zimbabwe for decades.

You might have unknowingly shared something related to the current open question with that post anyway
Son's name: Carl Tiffin
This kid's father has achieved something that only 6 others have ever managed, and it is unlikely that anyone would ever join that list in the future.
Officiating in tests in all 10 test playing nations. Most likely, no one else will ever do it again as tests now have both neutral umpires.

Stare at his photograph and at the expression on his face for a few minutes. You'll get the answer
"Expressions" was the key word there. The lack of it, in this case.

The person we are talking about, this kid's father, was, among other things, a wicket keeper batsman.

He is tough out there, that's for sure.

His representation for the national side was limited to being part of the Under 15 team.
He became an umpire at a very young age, after a military service induced break

And he is internationally known.
Well, that he is.

So, if you look at all the clues together, there was nothing more I could have said there... Well done everyone who tried :)

That was a long and winding road for sure, Crimson.

The "tough nut" clue finally dropped the penny for me. :)

Has Gary Ballance played as Kolpak player before? I thought he had British Passport... Look at some of those legendary names. We even had Klusener at the Stanboc T20s!
