I don't see this opposition much different than the one which toured last time. The bowlers were inexperienced and we batted just like the infamous carribian series. Surrendering without fight, bowled out twice for 150 plus on a belter Byo. The dismissals were pathetic, persistence with Utseya for first three over Price was baffling, fielding was terrible. Overall a poor advertisement for Zim ckt. It was a golden opportunity to seal IPL places but it's gone now. Future tours will also see a depleted Indian side.

Why people like Coventry, Rainsford, are ignored?

IPL places were never up for grabs. The only player with a smidgeon of an IPL chance is Brenden Taylor, and he made any remote decision pretty easy with is performance. IPL is reserved for players from the top 8 countries only. Even then, how many NZ players are in IPL? Its all about the marketability of the players. I don't think there are even that many Sri Lankan youngsters in the IPL.

The main problem is the boys didn't put up a fight so India and other countries will not be to keen to waste their time touring Zimbabwe ....

The next two home series are now even more important .....

The entire series just exposes the way cricket is run in Zimbabwe, there is a total lack of professionalism from the administrators and they just don't think big, they only seem to care about perpetuating the present culture of mediocrity for the foreseeable future. Can't completely blame them though when people at the upper echelons of political power will do everything to hang on to power, even if it means cheating the people and faking election results.
