Re: PJ Moor
He played in the franchise and didn't make many runs. I'm not saying that he's not capable, because he has huge potential. He needs a good season though, before playing International cricket. I think he'll make the grade but not quite ready yet
Re: PJ Moor
Get him opening the batting in the franchise cricket ( If there is one this year ) and lets see him score a heap of runs ......
Then ideally send him on an A tour which probably won't happen but would be great for his development ......
I don't think you can throw the guy in yet since he hasn't really found his feet at 1st class level yet ( even though he played much better once he went to the Rhino's ) but he seems to be a good prospect to fill the troublesome opening role ......

I think Kazusa will be better suited to the middle order than opening so i dont want to see him thrown in to open either ......

Re: PJ Moor
If there is no franchise cricket this time around it would be a shame really. I think the players are lacking match practice. They need to accumulate experience by playing more matches. The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is a league that should see more and more Zimbabwean participation, it gives the players a chance to rub shoulders with some of the best players in world cricket more often.
Re: PJ Moor
If there was the will at ZC and Gov level, and they made some sweeping, necessary changes we could resurrect this. It would require firing about 40 incompetent cronies for starters, and employing 3 or 4 administrators that knew what they were doing, and two guys to look after the purse strings. Will never happen.

Re: PJ Moor
Sorry to dampen Moor-mania, eugene, but the way PJ is tearing up the bowling in Northern Ireland club cricket the prospect of him facing Pakistan and SL is, to put it mildly, frightening: 14 matches, 203 runs @ 14.5 with only one fifty http://www.cricketeurope4.net/CEIRELAND ... emier.html
Not that Nathan Waller is doing any better up there.

Re: PJ Moor
Yeah, he might do better in Zimbabwean conditions. Still we wouldn't want him to do too well up in Ireland, lest he be convinced to play for them instead!
