Obviously once i found this out the conversation turned to Allan's time in Zimbabwe and his Nephew explained how his biggest frustration was that he was never allowed the team that he and Brendon Taylor wanted. The main reason for this is that ZC would overrule the requested squad that the captain, coach's and the senior players wanted.
.
i guess thiss explauns why maruma is in the team..and Panyangara

Yeah he was really gone off the deep end. I saw an old cricinfo post of his the other day where he was calling for the return of deGrandhomme, Sean Ervine, etc. Now he is talking about indigenising cricket and driving out colonial sympathisers.

I cant stand the guy his posts make my blood boil ......

The other day he was comparing KJ and Glen Querl to Ncube and Steve Chimhamiwa see below

Something tells me young Jarvo is in for a mega golden handshake long before the 3 years is up! Definitely another Anthony Ireland in the making!!! Knock yourself out boet. Before long you'll be deemed surplus to requirements ala Price, forced to swallow your pride and return to Zimbabwe. Unfortunately Like Anthony you won't be good enough to get back into the side. Never mind Vitori & Chatara, the likes of Musoko and Jongwe will be streets ahead of you by then.

While you're in the UK, you might as well give the supposedly cleared chucker Querl a ring and tell him the mighty Unicorns can keep him! We can do without an influx of desperate unrated English system rejects, abusing our small franchise setup to keep fit, while disturbing the playing opportunities of our boys Ncube, Chimhamhiwa among others in the process!

I see some of the recent comments from the Outkast being removed on Cricinfo. the username became ZCFOutkast from ZCF_Outkast (possible out casting from there too).

As you say, soon, we might find a user named Krikinfo_Outkast in forums again, beware :)

But this thread was about Alan Butcher's woes as coach...

I must admit I stopped following Zimbabwe's travels under Butcher closely but from what i could see things seemed to be going pretty well under him. But the disaster tour of NZ coupled with no other international cricket in 2012 seemed to really derail things .....

All in all I think the team was at some point moving in the right direction with Butcher at the helm, although when he left the team was in a similar position to the one he 1st took over, players leaving and underperforming .....
