So ZIM have now won 2 days out of 2. Very well done, considering all the off field issues and missing about 4-5 first choice players. Coupled with the ODI win, this is probably the best consistent show of value demonstrated by the players to tell the ZC they are worth the monies they are owed. A victory in a Test would go a long ways to justifying the tall demands they've made.

From a cricketing standpoint, I think there is enough evidence, over long enough time to conclusively state that ZIM are no pushovers at home. You've beaten Bangladesh 2-1, with the wins being by large and massive margins, respectively. NZ were very nearly beaten, and Pakistan were well fought on 2 occaissions (regardless of how this game turns out). I think its safe to say that even a full strength SL side, when and if they tour, would be up against it.

You've got at least one BD fan, rooting for you ZIM, so go on, keep your cool and finish this one off!

I hope there are no collapses today from either side so that I have a full day's play to watch tomorrow night while I'm on call.

Morning all,

As always prepared for the worst, hoping for the best. Three overs negotiated, lead 40. Go boys!

Well done Chigs!
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

Well played, Shingi.

Let's see how tinashe goes. He can hold a bat.

Or is it time for Chigs to hit out? ... ok, this shot answers the question.
