A young fast bowler
Re: A young fast bowler
Why can't Musoko take a wicket at U19? Can't swing or seam. Needs to change this or he'll only take wickets on a green top in Zimbabwe against tail enders. I love his intensity, really charges in. I reckon he is around 135 at full gallop

Matigimu at 15 from St George's could be 150 in two years time. If he was coached correctly he could actually be one of the quickest bowlers on the planet. Nothing will be done about him, in fact probably going to injure himself soon as his action is all over the place. His saving grace is that he doesn't try too hard just yet. He's already 130 plus when he lets it go. Someone get him another passport where his talent will be welcomed.

Sadly it's only about race or we would still be going strong.

As usual Googly, you've produced a little beauty
Re: A young fast bowler
The other good thing about Matigimu is he can bat. I saw him make 83 runs of 28 balls at the St Johns 20/20. I would say from watching King is the fastest school boy but I like the look of Joubert from St Georges. He is about 6' 6" and gets really good bounceGoogly wrote:Matigimu at 15 from St George's could be 150 in two years time. 6'6''? Yes please.

Snyman from St. John's is also 6 ft 6. He is also really under rated. He's a bit cumbersome, especially in the field but bowls well. Understandably he gets good bounce, not really that quick though, I think it may account for some of his success as the batters expect it to be a yard quicker. He's very consistent and can bat a bit. I'm doubting that neither he nor Joubert are hungry enough for this. Problem is they have been overlooked at age group level so lack some enthusiasm. First League would be great for them, will they join a set up? I'm doubting.
